Came to join my friend during her hair appointment. This was her first appointment here at this salon. Relatively well priced, and there are tiers to their pricing. This seems to be a teaching facility as well with really informative hairdressers and excited students. The staff was really friendly and all had vibrant, well kept, colorful hair. Our session took a bit of time to be completed, however the results were stunning! Cool place to go if you want a great color change!

Having just moved I was looking for a stylist who has experience with curly hair. I used the style matchmaker on the website and was paired with Austin. I booked my appointment over the phone and was pleasantly surprised that he had an appointment relatively soon I was able to schedule. The salon is very clean and inviting, along with all the staff. Austin was not only friendly and welcoming but extremely knowledgeable about the products and the fun of cutting naturally curly hair. I love my cut and will gladly be using him moving forward for all cuts and color. Their product line is new to me, but I was glad to learn about it and purchase the travel sized products to try.

I’m very happy with my experience with Tribeca!! I have a lot of hair (long and very thick) that has historically given stylists a hard time, but Kelli did an amazing job and gave me the best haircut I’ve ever gotten! It’s been a few weeks and I still really love it. The salon is cute and the staff is friendly. A little pricey, but definitely worth it.

This salon is the salon of all salons. Everyone is so kind and you can tell they all care a lot about their salon. Maren is my stylist and she is one of the most positive and uplifting individuals I’ve ever met! I’ve always been to lazy to try new cuts and after meeting Maren I was comfortable with trying something new. I love my new haircut so much!! I have never had a haircut that has been so fitting to my face and personality as I do now. It’s always such an amazing experience.

I’ve been coming here for years. It’s always EXTREMELY clean (and in fact it’s rare for me to not see some staff member sweeping or otherwise just cleaning up), and the staff are always super friendly. It’s a very welcoming place, and you get top quality service. Austin is great – he always very clearly listens to what you want and works to find something that is reasonable and looks good for your hair type. He’s very knowledgeable and will always explain anything you ask and make suggestions. I highly recommend this place.

I have been going to Tribeca Salons for years now, and Corinne is the best! She does a fantastic job and listens to what you want, and takes her time to make sure it’s exactly right before you leave her chair. The Davines products are incredible and I have never gotten more compliments on my hair than I do now that I have switched to using their shampoo, conditioner, and styling products. It’s a little pricey, but worth the investment in yourself to look good, and have extremely healthy hair.

Critical:QualityVery dissatisfied with how my hair turned out. I asked for a light blonde, similar to Taylor Swifts hair, and they first bleached my hair then toned it to make it look like it has an orange/red undertone (posted pic). It’s definitely brassy. Also, they completely messed up my sides. (Picture posted) I will NOT be going back to this salon. This is unacceptable especially since I paid $350 to have it done. I now have to go to another salon/spend more money to tone this out. The only good thing I can say is that the person that did my hair was nice and she did work hard, but obviously she didn’t know what she was doing . I cried when I got home. Thanks for messing up my hair, I guess ‍♀️ it wasn’t like my hair was dark brown… I had blonde highlights before they even touched my hair.Also, these pics were taken the same day I got my hair doneBy the way, this is Amber Chancey, just in case the manager sees this.Reply to the owner/stylist. I wasn’t happy when I left, and I even told the main stylist that. They said it’s going to take some time to get used to the blonde. If I had been happy, I would have tipped at least $60 not just $30. I only tipped her because like I said she was nice and did work hard (5 hours). It wasn’t that she didn’t get my hair light enough, I was literally bleach blonde before she put the toner on, the issue is with the toner she used. I got my hair fixed at another salon today, and they had to use another toner to get the orange/yellow tint out of it. My hair was orange and yellow. ‍♀️ that’s not supposed to happen, and a more experienced stylist would have prevented that. Also, I was already blonde before I came in, so it’s not that she didn’t get it light enough at all. It was the toner she used. I asked for a light blonde, similar to Taylor Swifts hair, and they first bleached my hair then toned it to make it look like it has an orange/red undertone (posted pic). It’s definitely brassy. Yay!! So relieved to find this salon and my stylist Corinne! I moved from NYC in January and was struggling to find someone who works with curly hair. Corinne made me feel incredibly comfortable and we just had an overall grand time talking bikes and babies! A lot of other salons don’t take the time to style curly hair after a cut but she sat and diffused my mane so I could be ready for my date thank you again and I look forward to my next visit!
